Android Park: AnyTale is an indie game company from South Korea. They started out business with developing mobile carriers’ smartphone services since 2010. Although most of the team members came from application development companies not game industry, they have shown great talent & potential in mobile gaming design & development. “Nabuza – I am Rich” is the latest title released by AnyTale for Android market. Today let’s get to know this talented team & their story.

Android Park: Would you please introduce yourself to us and our readers?

AnyTale: Hello everyone, our company name is AnyTale which is mobile application development company.. We started out business with developing mobile carriers’ smartphone services since 2010. Most of our team members came from smartphone application development companies not game industry…

Android Park: How do you start your career in designing or developing mobile game? Is there any interesting story which happened at the beginning of your gaming career

AnyTale: As I told you, we were not game development company before. 1 year ago, there was some game items in our internal brain storming session. Then we decided one item and developed it as game just for internal use and checking our team’s ability. (It took almost 1 month).

When we finished that game,one of big game distributor company in Korea found out our game (TDA-The Day After) and they wanted to make agreement because it is very unique. We surprised and enjoyed that situation so we decided to develop games more which were just in our thoughts. (which is very unique because it is kind of new game in the world – I cannot explain that game in detail because we already had NDA with game distributor company)
This is our story why we start to game business now. (Isn’t it too simple?).

Android Park: How long have you been engaged in gaming industry? Are you enjoying in working in this industry? What makes you most excited in designing or developing a mobile game?

AnyTale: We have been engaged in game industry just for 1 year. It is very interesting for us to realize our imagination with making game. We don’t have enough man-power yet, but we have very interesting ideas for smartphone games.

Android Park: Since Android and IOS are the two major mobile platforms that people use now, how do you think about the development future for these two platforms?

AnyTale: When we are developing game, we are usually using game engine such as ‘Andengine’, ‘Cocos2Dx’ and ‘Unity3D’. Some of game engines already support both platform at once so, we don’t care about the platform anymore. In my opinion, much more sophisticated game engine will support multi-platforms soon.

Android Park: Tell us the story about this Android game.  What inspired you to make such an Android game ?

AnyTale: ‘Nabuza’ is very simple to play and make a lot strategies for getting higher score. When peoples decide to do something, they are using ‘Head and Tail’ by flipping coin. I think it is the easiest way for playing something. So ‘Nabuza’ game idea came from the ‘Flipping coin’ and we upgrade that idea in various ways. The most important thing in this game is ‘Simple to play’

You can also find out and enjoy simple way to play by just flipping coins as many as you can in Nabuza game.. :-)

Android Park: Do you have something special to say to our readers and your future fans ?

AnyTale: AnyTale’s games just want to make people be happy with playing. We focus on ‘Simple to play’ and ‘Play with friends’. Please contact us when you have also idea for game, anytime.

‘Nabuza’ game has not beautiful design so much but you can know it is very fun game if you play just more than 5~6 times. Don’t miss it !  :-)

In this summer, we also release the new kind of horror game. We hope many peoples can forget hot weather by playing ‘TDA – The Day After’~
