Android Park:  Continue our interview with BrainIcon.  Now let’s listen to some opinions from them on game industry.

Android Park: Since Android and IOS are the two major mobile platforms that people use now, what do you think about the development future for these two platforms?

BrainIcon: I love Android for it is an open source and a very friendly operating system. Nevertheless we are now porting our games for iOS and Brain Squares is about to be release next month to iPhone/iPad. We’re also planning in the near future to port our games to mobile devices running Windows 8 so everyone will be able to enjoy our free cool games.

Android Park: Have you met any problem during porting between IOS & Android or developing Android Game?   How did you get through it?

BrainIcon: The Android platform split the screen to different layouts, which makes it easier to place objects on the right place. However iOS has only one screen size so I was very happy when I start developing for it. Unfortunately that has recently changed when the iPhone 5 was announced, so now I’m adapting to that as well.

Android Park: What’s your business model for Brain Maze?

BrainIcon: Developing games has started as a hobby for us and that is why our games are free. However we are also interested in exploring the option to fund our efforts in order to have more resources for the development. Therefore in Brain Squares we’ve added ads by Google and in Brain Maze we are offering an in-app purchase. You can buy new exciting and improved characters from our store.

In addition, we are working on a brand new Pro version for Brain Squares that will be released sometime before Christmas. The new version will include cool new design along with bonus levels.
