Interview with a very young independent developer team from Rusia – EyeBall Games, who just released their latest game ShadowRun.

Android Park:  EyeBall Games is a very young independent developer team from Rusia.  They just released their latest Android game ShadowRun.    They came up with the idea of ​​a runner with the mechanics of “running fingers.” Partly the idea with persecution was inspired by “Slender”. Let’s listen to the interesting stories behind the game.

Android Park: Would you please introduce yourself to us and our readers?

Eyeball Games: Hello everyone,   we have 2 mans in “EyeBall” team. We are from Russia. Artem Luzik. I’m 20. I’m a student. In out team, I am programmer. All bugs you find – it’s my fault. As a programmer, I really like to build a perfect hierarchy of code. I can spend a few days to think up the structure of the class, and then write a class for a couple of hours. If I think that the structure of the code ugly, I find it easier to rewrite everything from scratch, you can add a patch. Konstantin. I’m 20 years old. In our team, I am the artist. I love to make every ideal, even the small details in my picture.

Android Park: How do you start your career in designing or developing mobile games? Is there an interesting story that happened at the beginning of your gaming career?

Eyeball Games: We started to create games from childhood. At first it was board games. Many of the ideas of our games come with our children’s board games.

Android Park: How long have you been engaged in the gaming industry? Are you enjoying working in this industry? What makes you most excited about designing or developing a mobile game?

Eyeball Games: With a very long time, we wanted to make the games. And we’ve been looking for a suitable platform. We tried Flash, PC. But when we tried the android, we realized that this is exactly what we need. Artem bought android tablet and then we created the first game – “the Golden Age of Piracy”.

Although the game does not bring us a lot of money, there were people who liked it. The game quickly appeared on many websites. And we decided to continue.

Android Park: Where does your inspiration come from? Or what inspired you the most when developing games?

Eyeball Games: Inspiration? I think it was the same feeling that made us in childhood drawing board games. And we were also inspired by the film “Indie Games: The Movie” – that’s really cool movie.
