Description
AMD has announced that that it has teamed up with BlueStacks for Android Applications to Windows-based devices. They will focus on optimizing the BlueStacks Windows Application Player. The work is to make more than 200,000 Android Applications currently available for Android Phones perform at their peak operating on APUs powered with AMD technology.

BlueStacks had launched Android Applications Player which allows Windows 7-based PCs or tablets to operate Android Applications on Windows. This will not require installing the Android SDK. This Android Applications Player also allows PCs or tablets to install Android Apps synchronized from Android Phones with BlueStacks’ Android-based Cloud Connect technology.

BlueStacks stated that support for premium Android Games like Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja is still in the works.
